A Poem For Him

Our love circles with a riot of color and life.
Brimming with it's complexities
the heart rules with a single beat.
Change is subtle, the effect immediate.
I stare in to your eyes and tears well
recognizing the black abyss that's you.
The lines move and shift and the
foundation of sand is only good
when it's hard and wet.
Beauty, I sing out in darkness
and leave sadness for my joy.

It's A Dog Life

There was a moose outside my window.
I consider it a good omen.
There was a dog on my mind today.
I'm almost jealous.
I have a lot of growing up to do.
Back to selflessness and a higher level of thinking.
I'm lost in a beautiful place.

Early Morning Realizations

I continue on my course.
The months tick by and I keep working.
The movie has been fulfilling.
I long for my bed and compose songs in my head.
Strength is mine.
Wonderful morning.

Days Off

It's going on week nine of the movie.
I had two days off and I filled them with goodness.
Everything from hugs to hikes.
Love is in the air and I am happy.
My bed is a cloud throne.
My body is perfect.
Rest is best.
