New World by Robin Rosemond

I'm almost ready to travel south.
Getting a perspective is always a smart plan.
Things are changing and I'm thrilled with all the aspects.
When I drove to Alaska a few years back, I spotted a Lynx.
It quickly got out of my sight, but it made an impression.
This photo shows the beauty and mystery of these wild cats.
I don't want to leave Alaska, but I will be back.
My heart is here.

Cold Turkey Still Life by Robin Rosemond

The stories of an addict are familiar.
I wasn't sworn to secrecy but it was an intimate group.
Listening intently, the thread linked the night
to venus glowing in the evening sky.
They made my heart open to our tender spirits.
Strength to them and me as we walk in the snow to our cars.

Happiness Is A Warm Gun Mamaism by Robin Rosemond

More than ordinary as described it causes tummy twirls.
A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection toward my love bubbles.
Arising from kinship I strike the match and light a burning fire.
Recognition of attractive quality incites me to create.

We Are All Together

An Abstract painting without any straight lines.
I've been nostalgic for Portland music.
Jen and I listened to the Neo Boys.
Kari and I got a show in Anchorage.
December 2011.
The plan materializes out of thin air.
Gold ideas sparkle and I rest.
The mind, heart, spirit and body blend.
More powerful than a locomotive.
Able to reconcile.
Super Duper, glorious, love filled daze.
