Dear Africa by Robin Rosemond

Dear Africa!

I am here.
Listening to your ancient message.
The music travels NXNW to me.
Blistering cold and wind bite my face.
I travel the sunny, snow filled streets happy.
Kilimanjaro rises and the Nile flows in me.
Drums roll in the Raven's caw.
Wind hums the tune.
Africa! Dear Africa!

Missing you, Robin

Robin Rosemond's Mohawk Thanksgiving Message

We send thanks to all the Animal life in the world. They have many things to teach us as people. We are glad they are still here and we hope it will always be so.

Taurus Full Moon by Robin Rosemond

The emptiness is being filled with moonlight.
As the sun went down this afternoon, the moon rose in the east.
The hoar frost glistens and the icy streets reflect the orb.
I told someone today, "I'm not a hitter or a hater, but I am a fighter."
Tonight I'm at peace and content in my heart.
Thank you!

First Snow Fall

Sitting on my throne I stare at the candle.
I have lit the holiday and it sparks to life.
Set against the white blanket of quiet sleep
the world gears up for the dying year.
I settle in and give thanks. The prayer is:
Help me to be gracious, courageous and true.
p.s. I love you.

Day of the Dead

I am the walking dead today.
Halloween was just as bizarre as ever.
We manifest magic and I love wildly.
No regrets and my costume was hot.
What has risen from the dead is my kiss.
Tender, sweet, lips pressed against mine.
The breath of lovers and bodies entwined
are my salvation.
