Mr. Wizard conversed with the Munchkins before every performance. I love 'The Wizard of Oz'. It was a great run and spring is here. There's no place like home.
California will lead the way. After my trip south to see my family and celebrate my mother's 90th, I realize how the Sunshine State is the great indicator. I am back safely in Alaska and I will stay for a while. I enjoyed the splendor of Santa Cruz, San Pablo, Petaluma, San Francisco, Carmel By The Sea and Big Sur. I prepare for a week in the Land of Oz without the Ruby Slippers. Wish me luck.
I fly to see my family in California. We meet for my Mother's 90th Birthday. Last night I cried myself to sleep. My heart is big and aching. Joy and sorrow are my human experience.
People are screwed up. Even the ones I adore. I'm healing from this awakening in Alaska. It's been humbling. Drawn to what isn't healthy or happy, I remember Beauty. Love with a tragic tone. I lift my eyes to heaven and close them. I smell a cold spring morning. The depth of love is endless. I am forgiveness and gratitude.
I can say that when I saw this image, I knew I was wrestling with the devil. The devil within me. He's attractive, funny, sweet and dangerous. I was at a loss yesterday, until I reached out to nature and took it in. I clobbered myself with eye candy. Today, I feel like a layer has been lifted. It's still a full on battle, but I can create despite the energy required to fend off his snake like advances. Wish me strength.
