Back in AK. The Journey was sweet. I drove everywhere. I like to drive. My mother was fun. Deborah was hysterical. Lauren was engaged. I cooked for her and Scott. We Barbecued. It worked out. We had rum and cokes, and surf and turf. I love California, but I don't want to live there. I will do well here in AK. I know now. Each day it unfolds and I feel close to the land and my place becomes clearer.

Another Journey
The days call for patience. I sit with my Mother and wonder where she is. I love her. It's not an easy time for her. I pray for her. I love her. I travel back to Alaska today. I'm happy to be going home. I call it that now. Alaska is my home. The place where I learn, love, and live! This photo is of my Mother and I in the Ladies Room on Mother's Day @ Indian Springs in Calistoga. Wonderful time with my Mother. Life is a blessing.

New Beginning
Oh joyous life, I'm renewed again. Chance is there. All the magic exists. Blessed today. I'm protected for some unseen purpose. I walk forward free, unafraid, with my brothers, and dead sister. The ghosts walk with me, and all love still breathes in the unseen vapors that caress our skin in the wind of timelessness. Shaken to the core, I groove in mystery and seek the day.

Today is Bliss
Life Poem!
Today I sit in my chair,
in the basement of the house of dreams.
Dreams come true.
Dreams that bring one to the edge of the earth.
Life poem speaks worlds.
In simple language, love has been written.
Days grow in to weeks, months, and then years.
The distance is brutal, but life is good.
There's success.
Yes, there's failure.
Miserable moments that we must wade through with proud thought, and humble action.
It’s tragic and moving.
I look in to the dark brown eyes of the chief.
I wonder how tortured a soul must be to surrender all to addiction?
How wondrous for me that I’m free.
I seem selfish when I realize what can come between two people.
A veil.
A cloud.
A dark image resting on our shoulders.
Where does this dream lead?
What can I do to heal the illness that we all share?
The crazy, strange wonderings, and sad, sad, moments of despair that all souls face.
What do I see?
I know not, but I become a better person.

Sacred Sunday
The days are wild and I find my life changing and growing in ways I never thought possible. I amaze myself with my openness and ability to roll with the punches and pleasure. I stare at the sky watching for ash from Mt. Redoubt. I wait for messages from loved ones. Oh, life is the greatest blessing. The bounty of the Universe showers me with gifts of the spirit and secret signs from the guides that show me the way. My heart has cracked wide open and now it's laid bare. Pumping blood to my mind and filling my veins with the thick, red, juice of existence. I'm grateful, very grateful. The image is Lucy Wainwright at the palatial KNBA Studio. She's wonderful!
