but thankfully the day began with no resistance.

A steady wash of universal gratitude overtook the world.

Wonder and excitement evoked a childlike response.

Chasing shadows and looking up.

Tragic messenger.

Hovering with poems of love.

Falling on deaf ears.

Love waits for no one.

We bend in the process.

Follow your heart.

Feeling effect of southern intensity.

Walk front to back and back to front.

Turning poison in to medicine.

Tending okra and eggplant.

Drawing on the story.

Home manifested in swamp life.

Enduring heat and change.

Yeah, you right.

I went to Bullet's.
In Gentilly neighborhood.

Looking at my face.

Watching lines travel the span.
